The "Pundits" Strike Again...

Well, once again, while reading an article on what I thought was a reputable site I found a HUGE, glaring error. I stumbled onto this article on Sports Illustrated's SI.com which was written by Joe Sheehan from Baseball Prospectus. The dateline shows that the article was written yesterday (July 21) and updated today, and yet they state the following:

"The Boston Red Sox are the best organization and the best team in baseball. Injuries have hit the Red Sox hard this season, yet they're still in first place, thanks to the depth (especially in pitching) that they've created by strong drafting..."

Last I checked the Rays had a 1.5 game lead.
I expect a better product from SI and baseball prospectus...
