Manny being Manny

I typically keep things pretty Rays-exclusive around these parts, but couldn't stay away from the breaking Manny Ramirez news.

Apparently Man-Ram has been suspended by the league for 50 games for an undisclosed drug violation (AP).

My only regret is that he's not still in Boston because that would make this an exciting turn of events for Rays' fans.

It'll be a shame to have one of, if not the, best non-left handed hitter of the modern era go up in smoke a la Bonds. Its also a shame to see that he'll forfeit about 1/3 of that hard-earned money he fought for this off season, but I guess that's just Manny being Manny.
